Our busy little food manufacturing company in Cudahy, WI is looking to hire a warehouse associate to assist with picking, packing, and shipping customer orders in a fast-paced and fun, family environment. This position requires a high attention to detail in order to pack large orders accurately. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and self-motivated with a great sense of humor.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 4:30pm; 35-40 hours per week

Job Duties

Picks and packs orders as per packing slip specifications with 100% accuracy
Packs cases, stacks cases on a pallet, wraps pallets, loads pallets on trucks using pallet jacks
Receiving, stocking, and stacking inventory
Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation
Checking and inspection for damaged goods or expired products
Help with monitoring inventory
Using production line equipment
Nightly general warehouse cleaning duties (breaking down boxes, cleaning up any packing material garbage, sweeping, etc.)
Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills:

Positive attitude and great communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong work ethic
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Basic computer skills
Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Preferred Experience:

Order picking and packing (or similar experience requiring extreme attention to detail and accuracy)
Customer Service
Experience with or willingness to learn how to operate various pieces of warehouse equipment (Pallet Wrapper, Forklift, Pallet Jacks, Production Equipment)

Pay starts at $16/hr. Qualified candidates with prior shipping/receiving experience, proficiency with computers, and strong customer service skills will be compensated accordingly.
