Pork King Good Takes Chicago: National Restaurant Association Show and Sweets & Snacks Expo
May 2019 took Pork King Good to Chicago for a big week: our pork rinds were represented at both the National Restaurant Association Show and the Sweets & Snacks Expo.
Two shows, one very busy week
The NRA Show is the largest foodservice gathering in the Western Hemisphere, drawing operators, chefs and distributors from around the world. The Sweets & Snacks Expo is the snack industry’s flagship event, where buyers go looking for the next thing worth putting on shelf.
For a young, family-run brand, being in both rooms in the same week was a milestone.
The samples never stood a chance
By the time anyone thought to take a picture of our display, the pork rind samples had already been cleaned out. We will take that as a good sign.
