Great pork rind breading. I would love a courser version to come out soon. The texture of Japanese panko would be awesome.
I've been buying these for years and they are KEY to having been able to maintain my medical diet (no flour made of anything from a vegetable). I use it as a binder for things like crab cakes and zucchini fritters, as a coating for Japanese pork chops, fish tacos, and fried chicken, and a million other things.
I wish these were truly unseasoned as the name suggests. However they do contain a substantial amount of salt. They are very good but sometimes I prefer to add my own salt.
Hey Sandra! Pork skins are cured in salt and there is no way around that. We do not add any seasoning after the curing process. The benefit of this is that you do not need to add any additional salt and the salt that is in there will cook out quite a bit. We are so glad you are enjoying the product and appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review!!
I ordered the unflavored pork rind crumbs to use in recipes as a breading and to make 2 Krazy ketos mug bread. I am so happy I did! was using a bag of pork rinds that I crushed in my cheapy food processor and I couldn't get it fine enough and it clumped up into a greasy mess that was hard to use. porking good crumbs are light and fluffy and perfect for my recipes.
No need to try and grind your own pork rinds (from another brand) and end up with those really hard bits that never go away.
