Ingredients

1 lb breakfast sausage

1 egg

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheese of choice

1/2 Tbsp granulated garlic

1/2 cup Pork King Good Original Pork Rind Crumbs (or any flavor of choice)

Optional holiday seasoning mix (recommended for Thanksgiving or Christmas):

Pinch of poultry seasoning

Pinch of dried sage

Pinch of dried thyme

Pinch of dried rosemary


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, combine the sausage, egg, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, granulated garlic, Pork King Good Pork Rind Crumbs, and (if using) the holiday herb mix.

Mix until everything is well combined.

Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a lined or greased baking sheet.

Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the sausage balls are cooked through and lightly browned.

Serve warm. They’re delicious on their own, or dipped in jalapeño cranberry jam as a festive holiday appetizer.
